I just made this delish cobbler- super easy and comes out delicious every time!!
5 macintosh apples, with peel, core and chopped into big chunks
1/2 lemon
dash of cinnamon
(optional frozen blueberries, or leftover fruits of your choice- pears, peaches..etc)
crumble mixture
1/4 cup rolled oats
2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil or ghee (see recipe for it in revamp pantry post)
1 tbs brown sugar or sweetener of your choice.
sprinkle of salt
dash of cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350
Mix oats with coconut oil and brown sugar until it sticks together.
Core the apples, and chop into quarters- splash with lemon and dash of cinnamon.
Oil a small baking or pyrex with coconut oil, and toss in the apples, top with the crumble mixture
Place in oven for about half an hour, until apples are soft, and crumble is crispy!
enjoy!! and top with plain yogourt
