Fig Ricotta Blossom March 15, 2009

Ingredients

10 figs or soft dates

1/2 cup ricotta

1 tsp rose water or orange blossom water

2 tbs honey or agave nectar

Handful of ground pistachios for garnish

Mix 3 tbs ricotta with a teaspoon of rose water or orange blossom water, add honey or agave nectar (1tbs) mix and top with ground pistachio nuts. Cut open fig and add dollop of ricotta mixture- enjoy over cracker, baguette, or on its own!
