“The most significant change I noticed was that I feel less tired and I no longer have those “crashes” especially during mid-day. I have fewer cravings and I feel fuller longer. I have lost several inches around my mid section and hips and I am quite pleased with how I look. I am certainly making more enlightened food choices now, I have learned so much about the variety of foods available that I had never tried before, which are surprisingly tasty and healthy for me! I feel like I have taken a Master class in “Intelligent Eating”. I have also gained a greater awareness of how different foods affect my body. I would describe Myrite as very approachable, very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about her work.”

“Before working with Myrite I struggled understand the way my thoughts and attitudes are related to my issues with food and lifestyle. After six sessions over the phone with her, I made huge progress in self-care, such as getting enough sleep, making time for relaxation and fun, and even re-introduced kale into my diet (and liked it)!
I feel relieved to have had clear insights and made life-affirming decisions which have yielded concrete results.
I highly recommend this program if you’ve struggled with frustratingly chaotic habits of eating and living, so you can learn how to slow down, have more energy and get out of survival mode!”
“When I first sought out Myrite’s services, I had virtually become allergic to food, since absolutely everything I would consume would create a nuclear reaction in my tummy! Never in a million years did I imagine feeling as great as I do today, and that’s all thanks to Myrite! Myrite has introduced me to delicious and healthy foods I had never heard of before, but that now, I don’t know how I would do without! Her friendly, dedicated, and inspiring mentoring approach has proven so very effective, and as such, I’d recommend her to anyone looking to get on the path to all-around wellness. Thanks Myrite!”

“For as long as I can remember I would experience bloating and stomach discomfort- I use to think this was normal! When I started my six month program with Myrite we worked on my diet and eating habits and I very soon began feeling better. After experimenting with an elimination diet and some underlying emotional issues, I was able to trace a pattern of what was causing my pain and bloating. I noticed that milk and food preservatives were at the root of my discomfort as well as stress!- now I know not only which foods to avoid, but i am also able to prepare healthy and delicious meals for myself and my family. I also take the time to slow down my life now and I feel better than I have in years! I owe that to working with Myrite.”

“Myrite, I will attempt to extend the gratitude that I have felt towards you in the past few weeks that we have known eachother. Firstly, after meeting with you I felt lighter and happier, something that I definately attribute to your warm eyes and admiral listening ability. It is genuinely difficult to find someone that so appreciates honesty, truth and well being that they dedicate their life to help others search for such qualities. Thank you for being so kind, and devoting your time and energy in aiding not only me, but all your past and current clients. You truly are an inspiration and I look forward to our meetings in the future! Thank you for the good eats and the recipe ideas!”

“When I first met Myrite, I had chronic gas problems, coupled with constipation and diarrhea. It’s embarrassing to admit now, but I thought this was normal – it was something I was learning to live with. Myrite showed me that I didn’t have to accept these difficulties. Her program didn’t force me to give things up completely, nor did she recommend any kind of fad diet. Rather, by slowly reducing my intake of things like dairy products, white bread and beer, and introducing me to delicious, new vegetables and whole grains, I was able to digest better, thereby eliminating the pain and shame I’d been experiencing.
The six-month Tasty Life program I participated in affected much more than my diet, although that was a great starting point. Once I began eating differently, I began thinking differently too – about my work and about my personal relationships. Most significantly, speaking with Myrite gave me the courage and confidence to quit my 9 to 5 office job in order to pursue my career goal of becoming a sound designer for film, something I hadn’t been able to do since graduation.
The change in my mentality has been profound. What I learned I carry with me every day. Even now, in the months since my program ended, I continue to be challenged by the knowledge of what is possible in my life. What I value most about my time with Myrite is the listening, the giving of gifts, and the words of encouragement: small details that give us the kind of attention we sometimes feel too guilty or ashamed to ask for. It is this kind of care and time you learn to give to your body and to your mind over the course of the program.”

“With help, I overcame a three-year pattern of disordered eating. I suffered from bulimia, laxative abuse, and anorexia nervosa. Her patience, kindness, understanding, and counseling skills were the key to my recovery. I wouldn’t have been able to unearth the emotions at the root of my eating disorders without her. She guided me through the rough terrain of facing the fear of food, gaining – and then maintaining – a healthy body weight through menu planning and nutritional advice that was perfectly tailored. I owe my current healthiness to her work!”
“I just wanted to say that I really like your blog. Recently I’ve been making changes so that I can live healthier and its really helped me out. Nothing huge but my work out entails speed walking or jogging up and down mount royal once a day, and my diet is simply avoiding bad carbs and cooking things from scratch, trying my best to include raw foods and treating myself to a low fat chocolate caramel nut bar as a snack. I really especially loved the article you wrote about eating out because that tends to be when I mess up, and like a typical food junkie, when I take out one brick the whole wall comes crashing down. Anyways i just wanted you to know that I’ve been reading and enjoying your site.”
